Bio

Elana Marie is a Filipina artist and designer based in Los Angeles. Her digital collages blend reality with surrealism, capturing the clamour, noise and warmth of the material world and fusing them with a dreamlike mystery. Her kaleidoscopic compositions expressively portray a broad range of subject matter, from reportage to still life, cultural celebration to mysticism, and fashion to music, conveying the vibrance and energy of each story being told.

Elana’s extensive work and experience as a designer informs her illustrative approach, and she often incorporates type and creates eclectic photographic textures to enhance her pieces, whilst her explorations with animation continue to push at the exciting boundaries of possibility.
