Bio

Gem’s colourful illustrations are as bold and strangely brilliant as the life she leads by night, performing as a clown on the Brighton drag scene. Her love for everything camp and kitsch (along with her obsession with cats and clowns) enables her to create work that has a sense of whimsical magic. She also likes to explore the human form, celebrating body positivity and multiculturalism as well as the LGBTQIA+ community.
